I sort of gave u dud info, sort of. blogger does some pre-processing which u need to .... email me spamused at yahoo.com.au. It's easier to explain that way. It's pretty simple, just hard to do in the comment box. Dont worry, I'm not a stalker or whatever.

As a seafaring person, Quirky, do you call the sea breeze over here 'The Doctor' or 'The Sea Breeze'?
Just interested, because aside from the new chain of GPs opening up all over Fremantle I've only really ever heard it called 'The Doctor' by Tony Greig during boring bits of the WACA Test telecast.
While I'm sure Tony would know, I'd also be interested in anyone else's views on the prevalence of the term.
I do think it's a good term. I just dunno how widespread it is locally. But thanks to Tony, cricket fans over East sometimes even call the breeze, "the legendary Fremantle Doctor".
(And yes, I'm at work and should be concerning myself with other more pressing matters.)
Despite appearances, I never call it anything but "The Sea Breeze", and I don't know anyone who calls it the Doctor.
I was just trying to be clever. As well as the reference to the breeze, the title also comes from the saying "whistling up the wind", and also a silly reference to Bill, who is a doctor (of sorts), and who also taught me the saying when we first met.
Oh, the cleverness of me!
As I thought, Tony Greig's a dufus.
